On November 9, 2014, Charisa Munroe-Wilborn's world changed in an instant.
Both of her parents, her foundation, her vision partners, her people, were taken in a plane crash on their way to a leadership conference. There was no warning. No preparation. No goodbye.
In the days that followed, Charisa didn't want to be here. She was devastated, lost, angry, and afraid. But on day four or five, a principle her father had instilled in her found her in that dark room:
That single truth gave her everything she needed to keep living.
What followed was not an easy road. For years she hid her grief. She was afraid to cry. She could not return to her childhood home for nearly seven years. She was angry with God. The cost of her unexpressed loss was profound, it nearly cost her her life, her joy, her peace, her self-trust, and her momentum.

On November 9, 2014, Charisa lost both of her parents Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe, among the world's most recognized voices on purpose and leadership, in a plane crash. In the years that followed, she navigated grief, identity loss, and the weight of a global legacy watching. What she built from that devastation are The Boardroom & Soul™, The Internal Erosion™ keynotes, and the Pave the Path Retreat™ which came about from her own misalignment and the long, honest work of her own restoration.
